Aramid /PTFE Packing

LATTYflon 5706

A dense packing made from white meta-aramid yarns impregnated throughout with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and PTFE silk yarns before braiding. The whole is impregnated with a PTFE dispersion during braiding. The meta-aramid yarns of the LATTYflon 5706 give it exceptional mechanical strength, PTFE threads reduce friction between the shaft and the sleeve, Resistant to hydrolysis and abrasion. For a long lifespan of the packing/sleeve combination, we recommend a surface treatment of the sleeve. LATTYflon 5706 packing is silicon-free
